Yassaira Torres
As a first generation Peruvian American, Yassaira Torres is a local business owner of ‘Yasighra Arts’, a lifestyle brand diverged in travel, culture and self growth.
Her work is a reflection of her Queens-raised city grit and Peruvian roots. It is a cultivation of her BFA specialization in screen printing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and years of professional experience in retail, hospitality, and commercial textiles. Her professionalism and desire to embrace and support self empowerment are driving factors in every piece of work produced.
When she isn't traveling on her next adventure she works as a Tailor & Screen Printer in the tri-state area, with a studio located in the city - Yassaira continues to pursue the business world of Commercial Printing & Textile Production.

Tailor - Screen Printer - Traveler
All pieces are handmade and printed in my studio in New York City. I am a one woman team and take great care in every piece made. I use my knowledge in Screen Printing, Fabric Design, Photography, and Graphics to create all original pieces seen in my shop.
